Hi, I’m Josie.
I am an APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist with a strong interest in Sports Physiotherapy. I graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Newcastle University in 2018 and went on to complete a Master of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at La Trobe University in 2025.
My clinical interests include running, cycling, swimming, triathlon, and dance, with particular expertise in foot and ankle injuries. I am also trained in Clinical Pilates and strength and conditioning, which allows me to deliver comprehensive, exercise-based rehabilitation programs tailored to each individual.
I am passionate about my work and dedicated to empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to fully understand their injuries and achieve their physiotherapy goals.

- Cycling Injuries – Patellofemoral pain (Runner’s/Cyclist’s Knee), Iliotibial band (ITB) syndrome, cyclist’s palsy (hand numbness), and low back pain
- Running & Triathlon Injuries – Bone stress injuries, Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, medial tibial stress syndrome (shin splints), and complex calf strains
- Swimming Injuries – Overuse shoulder injuries in swimming (swimmers shoulder)
- Dance Injuries – Bone stress injuries, ankle sprains, posterior ankle impingement syndrome and calf strains
- Foot & Ankle – Post-operative rehabilitation (ankle stabilisation), lateral ankle sprains, and bone stress injury management (stress fractures).

- Pre-Pointe Dance Assessments – In-depth physiotherapy assessment to determine readiness for pointe work and ensure a safe, structured transition.
- Pre-Professional / Full Dance Assessments – Comprehensive physiotherapy screening to identify injury risk factors and support preparation for auditions, performances, and increased training demands.

Outside the Clinic
Outside of the clinic, Josie is a competitive road cyclist, riding for a Melbourne-based team. Josie also enjoys running, going to the gym and baking sourdough.
