At Complete Physio Exercise Performance, we provide Medicare-subsidised physiotherapy under Chronic Disease Management Plans, facilitating up to 5 visits per year with efficient Medicare claim assistance.
Does Medicare cover Physio?
Physiotherapy appointments can be claimed under Medicare if you have a referral from your GP. Chronic Disease Management plans (formerly Enhanced Primary Care or EPC plans) allow a GP to involve a multidisciplinary team in your care.
5 Physiotherapy Visits per Year.
The referral/plan would enable you to access 5 physiotherapy sessions per calendar year that are subsidised by Medicare. There is an out-of-pocket gap payment associated with these Medicare claims as Medicare does not adequately cover our consultation fees.
We will require full payment at the time of the appointment and our reception team will help you to claim back the Medicare rebate so that you can be reimbursed.
